School boards must act to
stamp out hazing

Hazing hits the headlines every fall. This November 4, 2011 Winnipeg Free Press article reports Neepawa Natives Jr. Hockey coach Bryant Perrier left the team in the wake of an alleged hazing incident that saw a 15-year-old player allegedly forced to tie a water bottle rack to his scrotum and walk around the dressing room.

Other players were allegedly forced to do push-ups over a bucket of ice water. The team's board reported the incident to league commissioner Kim Davis. Read more »
