Acting President Cheryl Smith is in her third term as trustee with the Battle River School Division. She has been chair of that board since 2007. Cheryl has a keen interest in governance and the value of clear, congruent and alligned structural foundations. Cheryl earned a B. Ed from the University of Lethbridge. With her husband Ian, she has seen four children through Camrose city schools. She enjoys music, yoga, reading and travel.
