President Heather Welwood is a trustee with the Northern Lights School Division. Prior to being elected president in November 2007, Heather served as vice-president for the ASBA and Zone 2/3's representative to the ASBA Board of Directors. She also served for several years as chair of the Northern Lights School Division. First elected in 1992, Heather and her husband Bruce have an insurance/financial business in Cold Lake. Residents of Cold Lake since 1979, Heather and Bruce have two children - a son and a daughter attending university.
