Zone 2/3 Director Johnette Lemke was first elected as a trustee for Black Gold Regional Division in 2001. She served two years as vice-chair of her board; chaired the board’s ATA negotiating committee and chaired the board’s CUPE negotiations committee. Johnette believes in good quality education for all Albertan children and that it is a trustee's role to help build an environment where all students and staff succeed. Johnette has been married to her husband, Allan, for 32 years and they have four adult daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and helping out in her community.
