Zone 2/3 Director Lisa Brower was first elected as a trustee in 2005. She is currently vice-chair of Elk Island Public Schools Board of Education. Believing in public education and advocating for schools and families is a top priority and life passion for Lisa. Having worked as a social worker with the Alberta Government for nine years and then later working as an educational assistant Lisa understands the value of a strong public education system. Lisa has served on a number of community and education focused groups committees.
Lisa Brower has lived in Sherwood Park since 1995 with her husband LeRoy and their two sons, Ryan and Logan. A life long learner and an active community member, she enjoys being active outdoors spending time with her family, cycling, hiking, camping and backpacking.
