Zone 2/3 Director Lynda Akers is in her fourth term as a trustee with the Grande Yellowhead Regional Division, being first elected in 1998. She is a long-time resident of Wildwood and she represents the area where she grew up. Her interest in education began while volunteering for school council, where she served as chair for seven years. Lynda and her husband, Jim, and their two children are all graduates of the local high school in Evansburg.
