In her third term as a trustee, Lynn Ferguson is vice-chair of the Calgary Board of Education. A rounding member and former vice-president of the Calgary Association of Parents and School Councils, Lynn was an active parent advocate before becoming a trustee. She served on the Support Public Education - Act for Kids (SPEAK) steering committee and was a founding member and vice-president of KIDS FIRST, a parent organization which advocates for tax reform for families. Lynn lived and worked in Saudi Arabia where she was a librarian in an international school for ESL students. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from the University of Winnipeg and pursued postgraduate studies on the Connaught Fellowship at the University of Toronto. Lynn has been married for 34 years and has three grown children.
