David Anderson was appointed executive director of the Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) in 1995. David holds a bachelor of education and a master of arts in social policy and a certificate in community economic development. He brings an extensive background in government to the role of executive director. During his tenure with the provincial and federal governments, David specialized in economic development and environmental, constitutional and resource development issues. Reporting to the ASBA Board of Directors, David is the association’s primary policy advisor.
