Lawyer Deborah McGuire joined the Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) in 2010. Deborah provides legal advice and representation to school boards throughout the province on a wide variety of matters. She completed a LL.B. at the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Human Justice at the University of Regina. Deborah articled and practiced law at private law firms in Saskatchewan. She then worked in Vancouver with the Department of Indian Affairs before moving to Edmonton to take positions at Alberta Justice (Civil Litigation), Alberta Education (Legislative Services), and the Federal Department of Justice (Tax Litigation).
