Lawyer Jeremy Schick joined the Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) in 2010. He has been practicing law in Alberta since 2000. He began his legal career in private practice in the areas of administrative law, including acting as counsel to an Alberta health profession and civil litigation. He subsequently taught legal research, writing and advocacy as a Belzberg Lecturer with the Faculty of Law, University of Alberta.
Before entering the legal profession, Jeremy completed his undergraduate degree, a bachelor of commerce with distinction, and his law degree, obtaining the Judges’ Bronze Medal, at the University of Alberta. He articled to the Court of Appeal and Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta. In practice, he has appeared before all levels of the courts of Alberta.
In his position with the ASBA, Jeremy provides legal advice and representation to member boards throughout the province on a wide variety of matters.
