Kendra King first started at the Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) in 2005 as a labour relations research assistant. She became a labour relations consultant in 2007. Kendra graduated from Queen's University with a master’s in industrial relations. She received her first degree – a bachelor of commerce majoring in finance and human resources management – from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, N.S.
