Vince Rodgers commenced work with the Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) as a labour relations consultant in 2007. Vince’s first career was in the British military, culminating in his final position as the training major of the British Army training and support unit at Camp Wainwright.
He joined Wainwright School Division in 1993 (now Buffalo Trail Public Schools) as the secretary treasurer. Vince served two terms as president of the Association of School Business Officials of Alberta. He was seconded to Alberta Education in 2003 to work on special projects. After joining Alberta Education as a senior manager, Vince worked as a special advisor to the minister on labour relations. Following a reorganization of the department, he was responsible for labour relations issues and emergency management.
