Provincial Youth Mental health Summit June 3-4, 2019
ASBA is partnering with the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) to bring HEADSTRONG to students from across the province for a two day Provincial Youth Mental Health Summit in Red Deer Alberta on June 3-4, 2019.
HEADSTRONG is Canada’s only national evidence-based mental health youth leadership program and is an initiative of the MHCC. Launched in 2014 to inspire youth people aged 12 and up to become leaders and mentors for their schools and communities with the goal to reduce stigma and encourage an open supportive environment where youth feel able to Be Brave, Reach Out and Speak Up for mental health.

Cost per student:
The cost of registration is $300 per student. This includes everything but transportation to and from Red Deer.
Accommodations for students:
At Red Deer College.
HEADSTRONG will arrange chaperones and supervision for students. To become a volunteer/chaperone please fill in the HEADSTRONG Volunteer/Chaperone form. Deadline for Volunteer/Chaperone forms is May 3, 2019.
