Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) is pleased to announce the release of its Artificial Intelligence Policy Guidance.
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to shape the future of education, ASBA has developed this comprehensive guidance to help member school boards navigate the integration of AI into K-12 settings for the 2024/25 school year as they review, consider and/or implement policies related to AI in K-12 education.
This document provides key insights and practical advice for developing policies that inform the ethical and responsible use of AI in schools. It covers critical topics such as data privacy, equity and the potential for AI to enhance learning experiences.
ASBA encourages all member school boards, educators and stakeholders to review this guidance and join the conversation on how AI can best serve Alberta's students.
Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) serves Alberta’s 61 locally elected public, catholic and francophone school boards, and the four public and catholic boards from Yellowknife and Lloydminster. Media Contact |
